Flew in from rainy sunshine coast, to a beautiful sunset over Darwin to - which I regret not getting a photo... here starts another adventure!

Sunshine Coast, visiting Sarah my cousin - possibly 30+ years since the last time.

We decided on an organised tour to visit Ulura, Mutitjulu, Kata Tjuta, Watarrka National Park a 2 night three day trip. We opted for tents - ie proper beds.

Monday 27th April to Saturday 2nd May, I might split these sections out into their own posts but for now, here is a very quick brain dump!

Sunday 26th April. Late afternoon flight (17:55, local time) This is all very new to me this long haul malarkey, a little dive into our transfer experience.

A 19 hours layover, so we decided to nip into Helsinki to sleep, and woke up to breakfast, bright blue skies, very brisk cold winds and a walk by the sea front.
